New MSPs sworn in at Holyrood in historic multilingual ceremony
All 129 Members of the Scottish Parliament were sworn in Tuesday, with 64 first-timers taking their oaths in a blend of languages and traditions. Karen Adam became the first MSP to use British Sign Language during the ritual, while Laura Mitchell carried a sacred Clavie stave to the chamber.
