Musk’s OpenAI lawsuit dismissed by California jury
A San Francisco jury delivered a unanimous verdict Tuesday, ending Elon Musk’s lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altman. The case, filed in 2024, alleged breach of contract and fiduciary duty over the nonprofit’s pivot to a for-profit model. The jury sided with OpenAI in under three hours.
