Officer shot, struck by stolen police car in Downpatrick chase

A County Down constable remains in critical condition after a violent carjacking escalated into a gunfight and high-speed pursuit. The stolen vehicle, later recovered, had been taken from a police officer who was shot during the initial robbery.
