Train driver hailed as hero after saving dog at Hampshire station
A train driver’s split-second heroism saved an 11-year-old Labrador from plunging between a train and platform at Southampton Airport Parkway. Jack Garrett, waiting to disembark with his dog Lexi, watched helplessly as she dangled over the gap, saved only by her lead and the driver’s intervention.
