Duke of Gloucester opens Winchester’s first hostel-based detox unit
The Kingfisher Suite at Trinity Winchester is now the city’s only residential detox facility embedded within a homeless hostel, offering 24-hour care for alcohol dependence. The Duke of Gloucester cut the ribbon Friday, calling the project a lifeline for recovery.
