Hampshire to refurbish 137 rural bus shelters with £15m boost

Hampshire is upgrading or replacing 137 rural bus shelters using £14.9m in government grants, aiming to make bus travel more attractive and accessible. The upgrades target parish council-owned stops to improve comfort and reliability ahead of a 2035 passenger journey target.
