Community events erupt across Hampshire this May with plant sales, dog shows and live music
Hampshire villages buzz with fundraisers and socials this month. From a Micheldever plant sale to a Sutton Scotney café raising cash for children’s cancer care, the calendar is packed. A dog show in Barton Stacey and live folk concerts cap off the lineup.
The quiet lanes of Hampshire’s Micheldever parish will buzz with horticultural excitement on Thursday, May 21, when St Mary’s Church hosts its annual plant sale and coffee morning. Doors open at 10 a.m. in the churchyard, offering fresh coffee, bacon butties and homemade Victoria sponge alongside a sea of bedding plants. Wheelbarrows encouraged. Organisers welcome plant donations for the summer swap.
